Refund Policy
Last updated: January 2026. We keep cancellations simple, fair and transparent.
Cancellations by you
Cancellations must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp. Refunds depend on how far ahead you cancel: 30+ days before the trip — full refund minus any non-recoverable costs; 15–29 days — 50% refund; 14 days or fewer, or no-show — no refund.
Park permits
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are issued by the Rwanda Development Board and are generally non-refundable once purchased. Where the authority grants a partial refund or reschedule, we pass it on to you in full.
Hotels and transport
Hotel and transport refunds follow each provider's own cancellation policy. We will always tell you these terms before you confirm and fight for the best outcome on your behalf.
Cancellations by us
If we must cancel a service we have confirmed, you receive a full refund of what you paid for that service, or an equivalent alternative of your choosing.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days to the original payment method where possible. Bank or transfer fees may be deducted.
